After l finished teaching intermediate 2 to my Monday class today, l showed them the whole routine again to ensure they undertstand what l have taught. After the class, some studens came to tell me they like what l did for them, and some told me l dance very 'clean', my moves are clear enough to deliver the message to them.

A-ha, 'clean', l like the word. I remember some dancers told me this too when l was in Egypt the first time, they told me my moves are clean and they have given me a great encouragement, as l was still new in belly dancing that time.

'Clean' in dance means precise, pure and skillful - my own interpretation la. I always share with my students two key words of dance especially in belly dancing - Relaxation and Concentration, this is my secret to drill my clean movements. If a person is tension and having too much interruption, l think she is not able to show a clean dance. And l have to thank my experience in Chinese Cultural Dance actually, l was trainned to be clean in dance from there, l heard people told me l am clean in dance too when l was in China practising my Cultural Dance. Nothing is easy you see, it is from my years dance experience. But when l watched my old videos of performance, l feel shame, l was not able to dance well that time, l was dirty :-( I believe l am cleaner now but l know l could be more cleaner. Only practising that make sense l know.

I wish l am not practising 'clean' in dance only, l hope my life is clean as well, how nice if the world is without polution as well as mankind's mind?
