food Temptation in Japan
Posted August 6th, 2009 by limconnyI am very lucky, when l was in Japan and China, my friends brought me to those local delicious food, l really enjoy food very much in these two countries. In fact, both are not my first trip there, but l enjoyed food the most this time.
This is the most delicious sushi l ever tasted, it is in an underground restaurant, if without my friend who stays in Japan, l don't think l could find this place.
Ice sake in cold weather, cool.....
'Take away' lunch, you could get this at the roadside.
The pork soup noodles, a bit too salty.
Close to the chef, typical Japanese style.
Korean BBQ in Japan.
hard to choose, and wa-lau-e, expensive la!
Abundant right? But this one has no difference with Penang's Japanese food.
Huge!
The most expensive potato l have eaten, RM40! Guess what? We have seen the wrong price la, sigh....heart attack when we paid. Though, it taste really good, but RM40.....My God! (I show 'one' in picture, 1000 yen la)
Banana chocolate, l dare not try, l know it is very sweet.
I enjoyed this lunch very much, it was cooked by an old man, home made one, the place is very small but food is- 'wow'.
These are for beer.
Sakura tea and Japanese sake.
Green tea, the glass is manu for sushi.
This restaurant opens till very late, it was 11:30pm when l stepped in to the place, but there were many people still and look like they have just came out from their office. This type of restaurants are mainly for food only, you have to leave the place once you have finished eating, you are not allowed to stay for long as the seats are limited.
My idol.....
Their traditional dessert - 'he guo zi'in sakura shape, l did not try this, too expensive la.
I love this very much, this is called 'Ji Ka Mian', means hand made, l love to 'play' the noodles, dip into the soup and eat it immediately, very fun!
