Thank you teacher, good bye teacher......
If you are my dance student, you know this is the way l end the class of the day, but it is slightly different between jazz and belly dance, jazz students just doing the bow, whereas belly dance students will make a turn and bow. And, they suppose to say : Thank you teacher, good bye teacher......
I did this when l was a student for ballet and Chinese dance, l think this is a nice way to end the class so l use it in my jazz and belly dance class as well. My kids students like this and they always shout ' thank you teacher, goodbye teacher' to me, l love to hear that. Today when finished teaching a belly dance class, the whole class just turned and bow, without words, except Elain. Elain then complained to the classmates of their silence. Hey you know this happens in almost all of my adults dance classes, it is difficult for them to say the words out, why ah?
In workout class, we will clap to end the class, the claps are for both instructor and students, we clap to cheer for the hard work we have just done, but until today, l still see some students just turn and go, why is that so difficult to give an applaud to the instructor and herself? Do you know clapping will help to burn fat too?
To me, it is a courtesy and respect to say thank you and good bye, and frankly, l hate to see the students just turn and go, l don't feel respect!
Please shout and clap for the instructor, your classmates and yourself, life is full of excitement isn't it? If you always hide your excitement, you can never enjoy your life. if you are not excited of the class, then why are you here?

A BIG APPLAUSE TO
